Morning Cafe

Start your day early because you've got a lot to see... and taste! This tiny, family run cafe serves lovely coffee and snacks. It can be a bit hit and miss as it's so small you might not get a seat, but if you can then wake up with a coffee from cafe no. 3.

Café Márnice

Located opposite the Charles Bridge, Cafe Marnice is a great place to stop for lunch and take in the views of the Čertovka Canal and get a good shift of people watching in! They serve a wide range of traditional Czech food, and while it wasn't the greatest meal ever, the location definitely made up for it! Maybe just stop by for a drink.

Authentic Czech Food

Prague is definitely best to visit in winter. Traditional Czech food is generally quite heavy and warming. With beautiful stews, meats that have been slow cooked for hours, and predominantly hearty dishes. These are some must try Czech dishes, and where we tried them. Top tip for all of these dishes - BE HUNGRY!!

Czech-Italian

If you're looking for something a little lighter then this hidden gem is worth a trip. Although serving Italian cuisine, there's a definite Czech influence to their dishes! The restaurant is beautiful and the food even better! We had Seafood Pasta, and Osso-bucco.

Trdelnik

Trdelnik is a traditional sweet treat. Dough is rolled around a spit and it's spun over an open fire and topped with sugar and cinnamon. You usually just eat the dough part, sometimes with a thin layer of nutella inside. Good Food Bakery makes them with a difference, jam packed with the most indulgent treats! We shared a 'Chimney King' and it was INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth queuing for.
