Eiffel Tower
Consisting of 18,000 bits of metal, Gustave Eiffel's jaw-dropping monument holds a clear number 1 spot on our list.
Champ de Mars, 5 Avenue Anatole France, 75007 Paris
Arc de Triomphe
Without a doubt, number two on your must-see-in-Paris list has to be The Arc de Triomphe. It’s a regal reminder of a time when Napoleon Bonaparte ruled the roost, proudly standing its ground as the roar of traffic whirs around it.
Place Charles de Gaulle, 75008 Paris
The Louvre
There wasn't enough time for us walk around the museum but we had to see the outside. That said, if you're planning on exploring inside, get your gallery walking shoes on because it is HUGE. Don't try and do it all, that will take you days. Instead, pick out a few rooms you like sound of to really soak up the treasures inside.

Galeries Lafayette
​Paris is the fashion capital of the world, so why not visit the shops! If it's designer you're after then make a beeline for the Galeries Lafayette for some true retail therapy. Not only great for shopping, you can stand on the viewing platform and really soak up the incredible architecture. Once you've shopped til' you've dropped, head up to the terrace for a drink with the most incredible panoramic views of Paris!
40 Boulevard Haussmann, 75009 Paris
Sacré-Coeur
The basilica stands at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. It's popular landmark and the second most visited monument in Paris. It was incredibly hot and incredibly busy when we visited, however it is definitely worth the trek up!
35 Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, 75018 Paris
Moulin Rouge
We stayed in South Pigalle and casually strolled past the Moulin Rouge. Cozily placed in between buildings on the main road, the Moulin Rouge was a lot smaller than we were expecting. Tables on top of tables of people waiting for the magic of the Moulin Rouge, it won't disappoint!

Palais Garnier
Opera fans are in safe hands in the lavish surroundings of this 2,000-strong auditorium. The Paris Opera house is worth a visit even if you're not going inside. The architecture is as magical as the performances that happen inside (especially if you're a Phantom of the Opera fan).

Shopping on the Champs-Elysées
The Champs-Elysées has always been one of the most fashionable and electric streets in Paris. You will find more high-street brands here, and lots of them. Get ready to shop til' you drop... again! Stop off in a bar and stay hydrated, this will be thirsty work.
8th arrondissement of Paris
The Seine
Possibly the world's most famous river, the Seine neatly divides Paris into distinctive left and right banks. Peer out over the river for tranquil vibes, stop off in a bar for refreshments, or take a boat ride along it (something we wish we did). The Seine is also the nighttime hot spot for sitting on the bank for evening pre-drinks with friends, also great to do on a sunny day!
